If his/her understanding wa! s different than what the Qur'anic verses were stating, we kept on rewording the translation until those verses were understood properly. It was tremendous patience on part of the participants. May Allah reward them all. (2) Simplicity: In this translation Simple Language and Direct Approach is used for appealing to the common sense of scholars and common people. (3) Understandability: There are no foot notes to refer and no commentary or lengthy explanations to read. All necessary explanations have been incorporated right there in the text with italic type setting to differentiate from the translation of the meanings of Qur'anic Arabic Text. (4) Outline of Pertinent Information: Before the start of each Srah, information relating to its Period of Revelation, Major Issues, Divine Laws and Guidance has been presented as an outline. Then a summary of the preceding events has been tabulated for the reader to understand the historical background to grasp the full meaning of the ! Divine Message. (5) Reviews, Input and Approvals: This proj! ect was started in 1991 and initial draft completed in 1994. Then the Translation was sent to different Ulema (Scholars) in Town and throughout United States for their review and input. After their reviews and input it was sent to Jme Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Egypt, Ummal Qur in Saudi Arabia and International Islamic University in Pakistan for their review, input and approval. This translation was published after their reviews and approvals.

Muhammad Farooq-i-Azam Malik is the Chairman of Board of Trustees and Dean of The Institute of Islamic Knowledge -

Education:

B.A. Honors - Islamiat and Arabic Language - 1963.

LL.B. - Islamic Law (Shari'ah) -1965.

M.A. - Economics - 1966.

M.B.A. - Accounting/Auditing - 1975. -

Worked as a Lecturer for 3 years, as an Attorney for 5 years and Audit Management for 18 years in a major U.S. Corporation. Now he has dedicated his life for conveying the Message of Allah. -

During his residence in Pakistan he started an organization called Anjaman-e-Islh-e-Mushra (Social Welfare Society - 1959) to reform Aqeedah and fight against the un-Islamic local customs. This organization worked in all the surrounding villages and was successful in achieving most of its objectives. He also started Tarjama-tul-Qur'an (Translation of the Holy Qur'an- 1963) sessions at various Masjid. During his residence in New York he started Dars-e-Qur'an (Qur'anic Study Sessions - 1970) at Bronx and Manhattan. Al-Hamdulillah, most of his Dars-e-Qur'an participants are the founding members of different Islamic Centers. He is among the pioneers of Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA).

After moving to Houston in 1975 he was elected three times as a Treasurer of the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH). As treasurer, he organized Accounting and Check-o-Matic systems. He was then elected twice as the Director of Religious Affairs and one time as the Director of Education. In these positions he organized the Zonal system of ISGH for children's Islamic Education and Qur'anic Tajweed. Then he was elected as the President of ISGH. In that position he lead the community in buying the Zonal facilities at the North, Southwest, Southeast, Northwest and Bear Creek areas and putting these facilities in Owqf (Trust) with North American Islamic Trust (NAIT). He also accomplished the amendments to the ISGH Constitution and Bylaws for the future unlimited growth of the Muslim Community in Greater Houston area. He also served as Chairman of the Planning and Administration Committee and developed short term and long term plans for the ISGH. He is a founding member of the Islamic Education Institute of Texas (IEIT) and the Institute of Islamic Knowledge (IIK).

At the National Level he has worked as Vice Chairman of the Islamic Coordinating Committee (ICC) and has been a member of Board of Advisers to the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT).

Excellent reference for English speakers, and translated in clear, modern day prose. Certain words remain not translated throughout with a glossary explaining those words in detail. Must have for native English speakers.

Easiest to Understand English Translation

I have quite a few different English translations of the Qur'an, and I have to say the Muhammad Farooq-i-Azam Malik's is by far the best. I like how he introduces each surah (chapter) with the background and key topics covered in it. It reminds me of the study Bibles I used to read before I reverted. The English used is modern English...no need to translate the English in reading it. :) Easy to Understand. Fun to read. What more do you need?
I would definitely recommend this Qur'an for people interested in Islam looking for a first Qur'an to read... new Reverts to Islam...and native English-speaking Muslims of all ages.

A great reference

As a Christian and even more so as a minister, I use the Bible every day. I know that its sheer size and sometimes its seeming unintelligibility can frustrate and even frighten many from trying to read all of it. There are certain passages that I, too, feel uncomfortable tackling until I've done research.

And that is precisely where this book comes in. Kreeft identifies some of the historical, philosophical, and theological themes of each book in the Bible. The guide has a chapter devoted to each book of the Bible, so the guide's organization is very straightforward and thus user-friendly.

Kreeft has the rare gift of translating the insights of deep and hard working scholarship into "layman's terms." He also offers excellent interpretations of some of the spiritual insights of the Wisdom literature (Job, Ecclesiastes, etc.). He wrote a great book on Job, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon also worth checking out.

Furthermore, if you are a minister looking for sermon material that is expository, Kreeft is generally a very quoteworthy author. I have quoted him in sermons to my congregation much to their delight.

In time, this book may prove to be one of Kreeft's most practical contributions to Christendom apart from his excellent works of apologetics. The book is well-written and useful.

Breaking the scriptures open, one book at a time!

I have heard it said of Peter Kreeft that if he explains something to you and you don't understand it, you will never understand it. He certainly has a gift for explaining even the deepest most complex issues in a clear fashion, and with easily graspable imagery which makes him an excellent writer. That opinion is certainly justified in this work. Through the use of clear language, vivid imagery and copious quotes from various translations of the Bible, he breaks the scriptures open, and makes them come alive.

This book can be read in at least two different ways, first, a full read through it will give you a clear map of the Bible, the progression and development through the Old and the New Testaments. The second method is to do it in tandem with reading the bible, reading the chapter in this book that refers to a particular book in the Bible as an introduction to it and then diving into that book of the Bible. Either way, this book should be read with a Bible by your side, I found myself turning to it so often to look at quotes which he references, underline, and write marginal notes, that it seems this is the only effective way to truly use this book.

If you feel uneasy at the thought of diving into the scriptures, this book will certainly help you to grow more comfortable with the Bible, and even if you already have a deep loving relationship with the Bible, I'm sure Peter Kreeft will have a few thoughts that will make you appreciate it even more!

This Advent the lectionary focuses on the Gospel according to Mark. In anticipation of that, we read this afternoon from Peter Kreeft's highly-recommended "You Can Understand the Bible." Dr. Kreeft's book is a collection of chapter-length overviews of the books of the Bible, and each one is infused with his trademark humor, memorable phrasing, and doctrinal clarity.

The three-page chapter "Just the Facts: Mark's Gospel" is excellent. He explains that Mark was a close associate of Peter and that in the early days of the Church, his Gospel was referred to as "Peter's memoir." Kreeft also describes Mark's intended Roman audience as people of action much like modern Americans. Accordingly, Mark uses the words "at once" or "immediately" no less than 42 times. In today's (Sunday's) short Gospel reading, the action-filled word "watch" appears four times, the last punctuated with an exclamation point. Mark's Gospel highlights the "love in action" of miracles. These miracles teach two things, explains Kreeft:

(1) Christ's identity as the Son of God, His divine power, and
(2) His compassion and love in response to human needs.

"These two always go together in the Gospels. The Romans tended to separate them, to see power as unloving and love as unpowerful."

Ten years before the start of the American Revolution, backcountry settlers in the North Carolina Piedmont launched their own defiant bid for economic independence and political liberty. The Regulator Rebellion of 1766-71 pitted thousands of farmers, many of them religious radicals inspired by the Great Awakening, against political and economic elites who opposed the Regulators' proposed reforms. The conflict culminated on May 16, 1771, when a colonial militia defeated more than 2,000 armed farmers in a pitched battle near Hillsborough. At least 6,000 Regulators and sympathizers were forced to swear their allegiance to the government as the victorious troops undertook a punitive march through Regulator settlements. Seven farmers were hanged.

Using sources that include diaries, church minutes, legal papers, and the richly detailed accounts of the Regulators themselves, Marjoleine Kars delves deeply into the world and ideology of free rural colonists. She examines the rebellion's economic, religious, and political roots and explores its legacy in North Carolina and beyond. Frankly, I'm disappointed

The "War" of the Regulation in NC has long cried out for an in-depth history, one that avoids the romanticism (First Battle of the Revolution!) and the innacuracies (Regulators vs. the British!).
The truth of the matter is that neither side in the conflict wore white hats. While the colonial government, like all British-styled colonial governments, supported "court house rings" and was not responsive to the justifiable complaints of its under-represented citizenry, the Regulators were, by any standard, insurrectionists. They took up arms against their governnment, destroyed property, endagered public officials and threatened to march on the capitol at New Bern. It is difficult to imagine any government threatened by such a situation not taking up arms to curtail it. There was much blame due each side.
Ms. Kars comes down early on the side of Regulators, missing the balance that such a history deserves. She gives far too much weight to her belief that the dissent in the backcountry was linked to a religious upswelling, ignoring that the Carolina backcountry was noted by many sources as being nearly totally irreligious.
Her work does contain an accounting of the period and its major events; but the reader should consider that the account she presents is slanted toward the Regulators.

light on a hidden corner of American history

The Regulators were a movement in pre-Revolutionary North Carolina that presaged movements like Shay's and the Whiskey Rebellion in the post-Revolutionary North. I don't know if it was the timing or the geography that worked against them, but I always thought that the Regulators deserved more press than they have received. I really know of no other books that addresses this topic so directly.

The book is a fine piece of history - excellent use of source material, an ability to frame the story relative to larger issues, good narrative, and good characterization (the figure of Herman Husband is especially appealing). I particularly liked the author's overall thesis - that the Regulators represented a true underclass, and were rebelling as much against the elite who would soon lead the Revolution as against the British. I was also was intrigued - if not totally convinced - by the large role she saw Dissenter religion playing in the movement.

The book is hurt slightly by the author's use of some academic cant. Other than that, though, this is a fine work, and highly recommended - especially for anyone interested in North Carolina history.

Incredible portrayal of true activisism and a better understanding of
Pre-Revolutionary history in North Carolina and the Regulator movement.
I truly believe that this was definitely the first Revolutionary War uprising and history should accept it as what it was.
What devoted people Herman Husband and the Regulators were who truly believed in wanting their fair rights and to have all the people recognized not just those privileged few at the top.
This book really helped open my eyes as to what just a few, who believe in truth and justice, can do.

About the Author
Makiko Sano grew up in Tokyo, Japan, where she was immersed in cooking from a young age. Her cooking inspiration comes from the females in her family: her mother, grandmother and her aunts, their bustling Japanese kitchens and food styles. Her family was all about preparing meals from scratch. She has lived in London for the past 20 years with her four children. Makiko's restaurant, Suzu, specializes in Japanese tapas, including traditional sushi, sashimi, and tempura as well as dishes that she has created herself.

Simple recipes for a long life, the Shoku-Iku way!

Much like the traditional Japanese Buddhist shojin ryori, Shoku Iku (“food education”) is a Japanese concept involving conscious eating: what we eat, how we prepare it, and how different foods are combined. Much like the traditional Japanese Buddhist shojin ryori, shoku iku is based on the power of five: each meal should have five colors (green/blue, red/orange, white, black/brown, yellow), tastes (sweet, sour, bitter, salt, umami), senses, food groups and cooking methods (steam, simmer, broil, grill and fry, no-cook, sushi).

Makiko Sano’s new book “Healthy Japanese Cooking” (published in the UK as “Shoku Iku”) immediately caught my eye; having lived in Japan on multiple occasions, I have long been attracted to Japanese washoku (traditional cuisine) and shojin ryori (Buddhist vegan cuisine). Traditional Japanese meals are based on the freshest seasonal ingredients, engage all the senses, and if eaten properly and with mindfulness, should leave you satisfied but not stuffed (the Japanese concept of hara hachi bu, or eat until you are 80 percent full).

Beginning with the essential dashi (stock) and dressings (rosemary soy, sweet soy, sesame salad sprinkle, shabu shabu and others), there are very handy illustrations and step-by-step photos to instruct you on rolling sushi, julienning vegetables, etc. Dashi is the backbone of most Japanese soups / hot pots, and you'll find several variations here, including basic dashi (kelp + bonito flakes), vegetarian dashi (kelp and dried shiitake), Motoko's dashi (made with liquid from cooking brown rice; I had not seen this method in my other cookbooks!), and two soup stocks.

I found the chapter on steaming particularly helpful as I have not cooked fish via this method before, but you’ll find heavenly steamed sea bream, a posh cod dinner in 20 minutes, steamed chicken, stuffed veggies, pork dumplings, etc., most cooked in the microwave. However, a word of caution; these recipes were tested at 800 watts, and it would appear that American microwaves are more powerful in general (mine is 1.58 kW), so you may need to adjust cooking times.

Some of the steamed dishes are cooked on the stovetop; my new favorite discovery is the “Full Japanese” garden breakfast, full of leafy greens, tomatoes, mushrooms and eggs nestled into the greens. I also loved the vegan monk recipe for stuffed pumpkin and steamed sticky rice, which is full of carrots, shiitake, and mushrooms (you can leave out the chicken to make it vegan). And my favorite steamed custard chawanmushi also makes an appearance, as do perfect teatime snacks mochi, sweet potato treats, and fruit buns.

The fried chapter includes Japanese burgers and shrimp barbecue, but you’ll also find healthy low-fat vegetarian options like Japanese grilled vegetable “stir fry” (half grilled, half steamed), eggplant and shallot salad, “full of goodness” (with a liberal helping of my favorite Japanese vegetable, lotus root!), and chili tofu. The sushi chapter features an amazing brown shiitake and pumpkin sushi, temaki, sesame seed salmon sushi, brown rice tuna sushi with sweet-hot sauce, five senses super-tasty salmon sushi, and some new variations like wasabi cream cheese sushi with lamb, avocado and pear quinoa power sushi, and sushi canapes.

Ingredients are listed both in metric and US (volume). Beautiful full-color photos by Lisa Linder capture the aesthetic of Japanese cuisine, with beautiful tableware that offsets the featured dish perfectly.

The resulting dishes, all of which embrace the “shoku iku” philosophy, are light, nutritious, and provide plenty of variety of colors, flavors, and textures that are sure to brighten any meal. I found several new dishes that I plan on making frequently, including the egg and tofu dashi soup, rice noodles with mushroom broth, pan tai, iced tomatoes, brown shiitake and pumpkin sushi, and steamed sticky rice.

If you are new to Japanese cooking / flavors, then “Healthy Japanese Cooking” is the perfect introduction as it uses commonplace ingredients (you may have to order some of the more traditional ingredients like kombu and bonito flakes online), simple techniques, and is aligned much more closely with the traditional Japanese diet based on fish and vegetables than many Japanese cookbooks aimed at Western audiences.

Great book! I knew nothing about Japanese cooking and this was an excellent way to get started.
The text is aesthetically arranged and is pleasing to read. Instructions are clear and sufficient for getting the job done. Tips are given that show the author is aware of the common challenges of novice are.
The recipe are easy but delicious.
If you like to cook, want to eat more healthfully and love Japanese food, I highly, highly recommend this book.

How is it possible this author's books keep getting better?

Every time I finish another book in the McRyan mystery series, I always have the same thought - how will the author possibly top this one?

Well, with this latest installment, I once again feel the same way. This book takes the reader on one wild ride, with the suspense not letting up until the very end. Mac is one part Lucas Davenport and one part Mitch Rapp - and it just does not get any better than that.

Clear the deck when you start this book, because you will not be able to put it down.

Blood Silence

There is just not a book written by Roger Stelljes that I haven't loved. Blood Silence continues in that tradition. Stelljtes always presents a complicated story with a heavily populated cast of characters. You have to pay attention to what the man is saying to keep up with the story.

This is certainly true of Blood Silence and the depth that Stelljes went to crafting the story around oil and gas production including the process of well fracking. There is always a gem in Stelljes' books...you always come away knowing more about something, and usually an in depth knowing, than you knew before. Just consider the Stelljes books as a life encyclopedia.

Well done Mr. Stelljes, well done as usual! Thanks.

Just finished Blood Silence and found it just as good as the other books I've read by this author.
Great story with all the elements of a fantastic read. Sex, power, money, and murder keep you wanting to keep reading until you finish it and then wishing there were still more to read.
Roger Stelljes just keeps writing winner after winner and I'm looking forward to his next book.
This is a great series for those of you that are police murder mystery fans.

Lockheed's Advanced Development Project has set standards for the aerospace industry for half a century. Under its presiding genius, Clarence "Kelly" Johnson, the Skunk Works produced America's first jet fighter, the world's most successful spy plane (U-2), the first three-times-the-speed-of-sound surveillance aircraft and the F-117A stealth fighter. Rich was Johnson's right-hand man and succeeded him as director in 1975, retiring in 1990. In an entertaining style, the authors describe Johnson's tyrannical managerial style, his thorny but productive relationship with the Air Force and the stealth-technology breakthrough that revolutionized military aviation. Writing with freelancer Jonas, Rich also recounts Skunk Works' failures, including experiments with liquid hydrogen as a propellant and spy-drone flights over China's remote nuclear test facilities. Since its inception in 1943, the Skunk Works has been one of the most top-secret military contractors. Now that the Cold War has ended, its story is uncloaked by former chief Rich, now retired. Using a small number of expert employees, the Skunk Works built technologically advanced aircraft that were disavowed by the government and its users, the Air Force and the CIA, for years after the aircraft were operational. The Skunk Works built notable planes such as the P-80 (the first operational jet fighter), U-2 (the high-altitude spy plane), and F-117A (the Stealth fighter). The story of Stealth's development is most interesting not only in the design, building, and testing but also in its origina in a Russian scientist's paper on aeronautics. There are first-person accounts of some of the missions flown by pilots and notes from many government officials. Highly recommended.

A gem on many levels

This book is a gem on many levels:

1) On the history and development of spy planes: This has been covered by many previous reviews on this book. So, I won't write more here.

2) On creativity: There are a lot of books on creativity. Many of them are trivial. Most are written by people who themselves have not design or deliver noteworthy innovations that are of national or international significance. This book is different. It is written by a person who has contributed innovations at, and even run Skunk Works, which has delivered innovation after innovation that are internationally significant.

How does a smart scientist or engineer determine if an organization is a place of major technical inventions? This book tells you the characteristics of such organizations. How do you organize and run a place that can deliver breakthrough innovations at bargain prices? This book gives you the principles on how to do it correctly.

3) On cold war and patriotism: This book gives you a glimpse into the cold war, and the hair-triggering tension of nuclear war between U.S. and the ex-Soviet Union. Also, it shows the patriotism among the U.S. government officials, top military echelons, pilots, and civilian scientists and engineers. Even more, it shows how Skunk Works' technologies tipped the power towards the U.S.

4) On biographies: This book is a partial and vivid biography of both Kelly Johnson and Ben Rich. Their personal traits, both strengths and flaws, are clearly described.

5) On Navy's major shortcomings: Kelly's fifteenth principle of rather to starve than to deal with the Navy is nothing short of astonishment. The descriptions of the Navy's sticking to Aegis frigate rather than Skunk Works' SWATH ship, and preferring traditional submarines rather than stealth submarines are so, so astounding. Right now, U.S. has the world's greatest naval power. U.S. naval power could have been much, much greater and the cost to the tax payers could have been much, much lower cost if the Navy had adopted stealth technologies from Skunk Works.

6) On the harmful effects of government interferences, wastes and bureaucratic madness: Reading this book and you can understand why we spend so much in defense and get so little in return.

Overall, this book deserves more than 5 stars. It should be read by CEOs and CTOs (Chief Technology Officer) of every major and high tech corporation looking for ways to leapfrog the competitions. It should be read by every Secretary of Defense and officers in high military echelons looking for military technologies to surpass other nations. It should be read by every bright scientists and engineers looking for a place to work where major innovations can be produced. It should be read by every science and engineering professors on how to educate future generations of science and engineering students that can create and innovate.

Awesome aerospace/military history

Skunk works is the true story behind the coolest, high tech, top secret, aerospace engineering division operated by the Lockheed Martin corporation. Forged by legendary U. Michigan alumnus Kelly Johnson, the Skunk Works has created the coolest planes of recent memory, including the SR-71 Blackbird (currently visible on the flight deck of the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier in NYC), the F117A Stealth Fighter, and the U2 spy plane. The F22 Raptor and the Joint Strike Fighter are also creations of the Skunk Works, but are not covered in this autobiography written by the successor to Kelly Johnson, Ben Rich.
This quick read is well worth your while for a couple of reasons. First, the stories behind the creation of these planes is very interesting. For example, the Skunk Works engineers found the mathematical key to the stealth design buried within an obscure physics journal originally published in Russian. Oddly, the Russians military never capitalized on the principle, despite urgings from the article's Russian author. Furthermore, when the stealth plane was first designed and kept in a secret hanger infested with some bats, the bats couldn't detect the plane with their "sonar-like" sense, and they ended up crashing into it.
The book also makes for excellent military and therefore world history. Accomplishments of the U2 spy plane and the F117-A Stealth Fighter are covered in depth and literally changed the course of world events during the Cold War, the Vietnam War, the Korean War, the Gulf War, and other skirmishes. Many interesting, behind the scenes (formerly classified?) missions are also revealed in this book. Ben Rich also speculates on the future types of planes currently on the minds of engineers at the Skunk Works, and the implications will change how wars are fought in the future.
For readers who liked this book, NOVA recently published a video on the creation of the Joint Strike Fighter, a contract fought over between the Skunk Works and the Phantom Works of Boeing. These do all fighters are amazing, and this video is definately worth watching for those who enjoyed "Skunk Works."

Engrossing true story

I'm not particularly an avid reader of military history books or contemporary history books in general, but after a coworker described this book, curiosity got the better of me and I bought it. I'm glad I did.
Ben R. Rich joined the legendary 'Skunk Works' as a young engineer, worked on some of the most secretive military projects in recent history, and later ended up taking over management of Skunk Works. As a result, perhaps no one else in the world has as much first hand knowledge of these projects, and no one else is better positioned to chronicle some of America's military crown jewels.
Rich (and Janos) have crafted a unique book that gives Ben Rich story, with interesting first hand accounts from pilots, air force personnel, and highly placed government officials. Rich covers the struggles encountered while building various classified aircraft: the U2, SR-71 BlackBird, the stealth fighter, the stealth boat, among others. He also lightly delves into the darker side of the defense industry: politics, waste, and bureaucracy.
An amazing read, and highly recommended.

About the Author
William C. Boynton, Ph.D., CPA received his doctorate in accounting from Michigan State University. He is professor emeritus of accounting at California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo where he formerly served as dean and head of the Accounting Department. He has served on the audit staffs of two international public accounting firms. He has also served as a regional chairperson of the Auditing Section of the American Accounting Association, and on a variety of committees for the American Accounting Association and the  Federation of Schools of Accountancy. He is the author or coauthor of several articles and committee reports on accounting and auditing, and has served as codirector of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he has served on its Globalization Task Force and its Committees on Accounting Education, the 150-Hour Requirement, and Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards. He is a recipient of the California Society of Certified public Accountants Faculty Excellence Award.

Raymond N. Johnson, Ph.D., CPA received his doctorate in accounting from the University of Oregon. He is a professor of accounting at Portland State University where he formerly served as head of the Accounting Department, Assistant to the Vice President for Finance and Administration and Assistant to the Provost. He has served on the audit staffs of two international public accounting firms and one local firm. He also served as a consultant to the Auditing Standards Board and was a member of the AICPA Control Risk Audit Guide Task Force. Dr. Johnson currently is a member of the Oregon Board of Accountancy and he is a Past-President of the Oregon Society of CPAs, a former member of AICPA Council (the AICPA's governing body). He led successful legislative and regulatory initiatives in Oregon to expand the pathways to earn the CPA designation. In addition, he has been an American Council on Education Fellow and an Arthur Young McClelland Moores Post-Doctoral Fellow. Dr. Johnson is the recipient of a Leadership Award from the Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum and the Earl Wantland Outstanding Business Professor at Portland State University.

Vague, wordy, confusing, and in need of examples

I found that if you want to learn the language of auditing, have another reference handy. Often, the discourse goes on and on and on and could really be distilled down into a sentence or two that had a firm and grounded presentation. There were very few examples so it was difficult at best to try to understand the often high-level conceptual frameworks that were constantly being presented. I also noted quite a few editing errors that probably arose from cut-and-pastes that were not carefully reviewed. Also, figures and diagrams were reused and were not carefully reviewed either as information was present that didn't apply to the new scenario.

Very Confusing

I believe you can find a better auditing textbook in the market. I took an auditing class with one of the authur in Portland and, as a result, was required to buy the textbook. But, I ended up using another auditing textbook in order to get an "A" from this class. The format and writing style are very difficult to follow and understand.
